It’s a day before valentine’s day. Everyone were practicing to propose and give a gift to their beloved ones. Even Christina decided to express her love to Prismith tomorrow. She searched on the internet how to propose, watched a lot of videos on YouTube regarding love expression. She even asked her mom how her dad proposed her. Even she herself was surprised that she had become a researcher in that regard. She thought had she concentrated on her study like that, she would have become the topper of her class. She even went to the salon for a light makeup. She hoped that the following day would be the best memorable day for her. Same is the situation in case of Amosh. Although he used to tease Christina, but his feelings were true for her. So, he had decided to propose her the next day. He practiced saying some cheesy lines which he saw on the internet. He even dreamed of himself in a red-colored shirt of Paul Smith, blue levis’ jeans and Adidas’ shoes, on a date with the beautiful Christina. When he woke up, he was feeling shy with himself and hoped for the same reality as in the dream.
Finally, it was 9 am in the morning, and most of the students of class X had reached school by that time although classes would start after 10 am. The reason was of course It was valentine’s day. The atmosphere of the school was different. It was somehow romantic kinda feeling flowing everywhere. Everyone in their best look and style, it looked as if they were there to film a romantic scene. However, not all of them were there to propose; most of them were there just to be a part of the love drama.
But Christina came a little late than others. Her best friend Ramita was waiting for her to enter the classroom with her. They entered the classroom and everyone was watching Christina and were being mesmerized by her beauty. She was pretty indeed and she looked prettiest of all days that day. She looked here and there in the class for Prismith, but he was nowhere to be seen. Amosh was there waiting for her presence, and wow he was not looking bad either. After she got seated she asked him where Prismith was and he replied that he would come later.
“You are looking really pretty, Christina.” He felt as if his heart would stop, saying that.
“Thanks” She responded.
“Do you have any plans for today?”
“No, nothing.”
Just then bell rings and the teacher enters the room. Prismith also enters the classroom along with the teacher. When Christina saw him, her heart started to flutter. She didn’t even notice teacher, and remain seated while all her classmates were standing to greet him. Amosh hit gently with his scale and then she stood up as well.
When Prismith got seated, Christina turns back to see him and smiles shyly, while Amosh gets the wrong idea that she smiled at him. But Prismith turns his eye to Liza’s seat. He feels sad finding her seat empty.
It was lunchbreak and all students were active once again. Amosh had noticed a flute in Christina’s bag since morning. He takes it out and asks her if he can see it. Suddenly she takes it back and puts it inside. Prismith also saw the flute. He remembered it was the same flute which he used to play two years ago and he had given it to her as a token of friendship, after the incident. Since then he had stopped playing the flute.
Actually, Christina had planned to propose him and ask him to play the flute once again for her. She was embarrassed that she could neither propose him nor she could ask him to play the flute for her.
However, Amosh took out the flute once again and asked Prismith if he can play it for all of the classmates. Prismith looked at Christina and smiled at her, she smiled back at him with her eyes requesting the same. Then he agreed to play. Everyone seemed excited and he played the instrumental of the song ‘I have seen a lot of girls in my life, but I have seen only you as my wife’. Christina became red because of shyness as she felt that it was dedicated to her. She wanted him to play the flute only for her, but she thought that now he is telling the crowd that he yearns for her.
It was a time of excitement, and the hearts of many couple got entangled that day and hearts of many people got shattered in to pieces. There were also many people whose hearts strongly urged to get entangled but their outcry could not be expressed and heard. But also, they hoped for the best timing for them to be heard and accepted.Next
